Dr Sophie Bulter

Dr Sophie Butler is a ST6 higher trainee in general adult psychiatry at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and GKT School of Medicine Year 4 Mental Health Block Lead. She is in the dissertation stage of her MA in Clinical Education from KCL and 2018-2019 was an Education Fellow with the Postgraduate Psychiatry Department at SLaM and the Undergraduate Psychiatry Department at GKT. She has experience of large-scale, institutional education design and implementation through her work on the innovative GKT third year longitudinal psychiatry placement and a new fourth year mental health block. Sophie also has a passion for independent, creative educational programmes, co-leading PsychED Up (2018-2019) and has run the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN) Summer School for the past 3 years.
