About the conference

Maudsley Learning is proud to present the third Simulation Conference 2026, a two day hybrid event dedicated to advancing mental health simulation in education and clinical practice. The conference will take place on 17 September 2026 (online only) and 18 September 2026 (in person at ORTUS, 82 to 96 Grove Lane, London, SE5 8SN, United Kingdom), offering flexible access alongside valuable opportunities for in person engagement and professional networking.

Hosted by the Maudsley Learning Simulation Team, the conference builds on the success of our previous events and will bring together mental health professionals, educators, researchers and system leaders from across the United Kingdom and internationally. Through keynote presentations, expert panel discussions and interactive workshops, the programme will provide a dynamic and inclusive platform to explore innovative research, applied practice and emerging developments in mental healthcare education.

As demand for high quality, experiential learning continues to grow, this conference offers a dedicated space to showcase leading simulation practice. Delegates will gain practical insight into the evolving landscape of mental health simulation, strengthening clinical capability, professional confidence and educational impact. More than a conference, this is a collaborative forum designed to share expertise, foster partnerships and support those committed to advancing simulation within mental health education and services.

Whether you are delivering simulation programmes or considering how to embed simulation within your organisation, this event will inform, inspire and support meaningful professional connections. Themes will include psychological wellbeing, digital mental health innovation, trauma informed care, workplace wellbeing, youth mental health and wider transformative approaches within contemporary mental healthcare.
