Adam Gridley

Service user with lived experience, author, lecturer and podcast producer

Ad Gridley was attracted to using cannabis after he learned it could make you super aware, with no need to study martial arts to gain this hypervigilance. So, on his gap year in Canada, he experimented, was soon invited to lots of parties and was addicted. Three years later, back in England, he was attempting suicide. Then followed ten years of hospitalisations and many medication increases. Since 2010, he's thankfully been stable. He's had a book published, he's lectured at fifty or so universities and currently also curates two podcasts. He's been a member of the Cannabis Clinic for about two years.
