Dr Roxanne Keynejad

Dr Roxanne Keynejad is an ST4 higher trainee in general adult psychiatry in the third year of her PhD at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, King’s College London. Roxanne’s PhD is a randomised feasibility study of brief problem-solving therapy for perinatal depression in rural Ethiopia. Roxanne has longstanding interests in global mental health and the democratisation of medical education through digital and partnership collaborations. She was mental health group co-lead of King’s Somaliland Partnership from 2014-19, co-founded the special interest group, @Trainees4GMH and founded iVAMHN, the international violence, abuse and mental health network for early career researchers. She has a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Education from King’s College London and co-authored the forthcoming medical student textbook, ‘Psychiatry PRN: Principles, Reality, Next Steps’ (2nd Edition).
