About the course

Individual Placement and Support (IPS) is an employment support approach developed for people facing mental health and addiction issues. IPS provides intensive and individualised support and a strengths-based approach to get people into work of their choosing, as well as ongoing support for employees and employers to achieve long term sustainability.

Mental health trusts, charities, and other support organisations across the UK have invested in IPS to improve the lives of people with mental health and addiction problems. IPS practitioners require training from experienced facilitators to confidently work with clients. This 10-day training programme is delivered over 3 months and welcomes practitioners from all backgrounds and organisations who are working in an employment support role. Individual components of the programme can be commissioned separately. Please contact Maudsley Learning for more information.
