Faculty development: Advanced debrief course

The aim of the course is to increase facilitators’ confidence in managing challenging debriefs and feel more able to tailor their debriefing practice to diverse groups, different learners needs and learning situations.

The day will include reviewing your experience and knowledge of debrief frameworks and skills, and how these can be adapted and built upon to facilitate more demanding debriefs.

The course will explore common debrief challenges, pitfalls and dilemmas, to enhance skills and confidence when addressing them in your debrief practice.

The course will be engaging and interactive. It will invite attendees to discuss and reflect on their own experiences and challenges, and build on active involvement in practicing these skills live via tailored exercises.
