The services work in challenging situations and demand a unique set of knowledge and skills.

This one day course is for all mental health professionals working in a psychiatric liaison service and those who wish to move into this area. At the end of the course learners will be expected to have gained an understanding of the core knowledge and skill set needed to assess and manage psychiatry patients in the emergency department, which can be further developed in clinical practice.
