About the course

This Masterclass is most suited to CAMHS clinicians who practice structured, problem focused therapies (predominantly Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and may be moving into or currently holding supervisory responsibilities for other CBT therapists or clinicians using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and are guided by principles of Evidence Based practice in the delivery of care to children and young people. You will need to have a minimum of two years post-graduate study and clinical practice of CBT and be motivated to enhance your understanding and delivery of supervision within Second and Third wave CBT practice. We will be supporting you to consolidate and develop further your understanding and practice of CBT supervision. We will be looking through recent evidence and theoretical developments in the CBT supervision practice literature and sharing learning from our own practice. Attendees will have the opportunity to refresh and update their own practice through teaching and discussion with peers. In true CBT tradition, we will begin each day by developing an agenda towards skills practice in the afternoon, relevant to your current concerns.
